I send my sympathy to the family. I recently lost my Mother, Bette Engelhardt - who was a neighbor of the Healey's for many years. I know they are enjoying their reunions in Heaven and watching over all of us. God Bless.

To heal in grief, we must shift our relationship with the person who died from one of physical presence to one of memory.
These words have helped me,loosing my husband of 47 years Feb 8, 2005.
Heard of your loss through a genealogy research list on line. I was curious if Michael was related to the Healey Family of Newfoundland/Boston Mass/Woonsocket R.I.& Brooklyn NY.
My Mother was in the Healey Family of Newfoundland.I'm Very sorry about your loss, I know it was a great one to his family & friends.
I would appreciate your reply, thanking you in advance.

As a friend well stated, "Michael is a cream puff". He was a kind and compassionate man who always had a smile or a kind word. Although we did not get know know Michael until the last several years, we will miss him as close friend and neighbor.

William Healey posted a condolence

Michael Healey was my father, and he worked hard every day to be the best one he could be. As he had a miserable childhood growing up, he could have been very bitter as an adult, but he chose to be compassionate and caring. That is the greatest miracle I have every observed in my life.
Dad, I will miss you, but enjoy your reunion with Mom as I know you will!
Love, BILL
