tried to get in touch with Katie, but found out from Betty Bulman that she had passed away. I'm so sorry about the sad news. My husband Fred passed away June 1, 2006. Katie and I grew up together in Jamaica Plain. I will write to my sister Kay in St. Louis about the sad news. Take care, love Patricia (Mulvey) Merz Scituate, MA.

To all the Malloy cousins and your families: Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Aunt Katie was always so welcoming, joyful and kind – I have great memories of visits to Westfield and of her visit here to Nicaragua. She was such a special person and will be missed very much. Lots of love, Anne McSweeney, Mark Lester, Roque and Maura

I know her kindness, humor and love of family will always be remembered. She was like a mother to all of us during those summers in Maine. She will be greatly missed.

I will always remember Grandma Kate! Even though I’m not a Malloy, she made me feel like one of them. She marked my height on her wall as if I were one of her grandchildren. Grandma, receive my prayers for you from Canada from a person that will keep in her heart all the good moments we spent together (1995 – 1996). With all my love. Luza!
