Obituary of Howard J. Crum

Howard J. Crum, 77, died on Wednesday August 6, 2008 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, NJ. He was born in West Milford, NJ and moved to Mt. Tabor, NJ in 1966. Howard was a carpenter with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners in Madison, NJ for over 35 years, retiring in 1993. He served in the NJ National Guard. He is survived by his wife Mildred "Millie" I. Law, who he married on February 2, 1962. His children Cheryl Capo, of Mt. Tabor, Jeffrey H. Crum of West Milford, Leann Eck of Raleigh, NC, and Jennifer Davenport of Mine Hill. He is also survived by his grandchildren Nicole Capo of Mt. Tabor, Laura Eck of Greensboro, NC, Jodi G. Crum of Parsippany, Jared J. Crum of East Stroudsburg, PA, Peter Eck of Raleigh, NC, Kathryn Eck of Greensboro, NC, and Joshua H. Crum of Kinnelon; as well as his brother John Crum Jr. of New Bern, NC and his sister Dorothy Longo of Haskell, NJ. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, N.J. www.normandean.com, Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
