Marcella M. Hughes (Nee Murray) passed away at Franciscan Oaks Health Care Center in Denville, NJ on March 2, 2005. She was 92 years old.
Born In Brooklyn, NY she had attended Hunter College, and hen received her Masters in Education from Columbia University Teachers College.
She then taught in the New York City School System for over 40 years until she retired at the age of 62. She then moved to Montclair, NJ where she was a docent at Crane House and a volunteer at Montclair Community Hospital before moving to Denville 7 years ago.
Her five children, twelve grandchildren and twelve great randchildren survive her.
Funeral at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Mt. Lakes, NJ at 9:30AM on Saturday March 5. Friends may visit at Norman Dean Home for services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
