Obituary of Claude G. Lash

Claude G. Lash, 89, died his home in Denville on Monday Feb. 21, 2005.
Mr. Lash was born and a lifelong resident of Denville. He served in the US Army during WW II and received the Distinguished Unit Badge and Bronze Arrowhead for campaigns from Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe. He was a machinist for Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, NJ for 32 years retiring in 1972. Mr. Lash was a Denville Firemen and Denville Exempt Firemen. He was a member of the VFW Post 2519 Denville, and a member of the Denville Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Lash was married for 67 years to Virginia Lash, he is predeceased by his daughter Claudia G. Leonard. Two grandchildren Michael and Michele Leonard survive him. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews survive him.
Mr. Lashs funeral services will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services on Friday Feb. 24th at 10:00a.m. Interment Denville Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday Feb. 25th fro 2-4 & 7-9p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Denville Fire Dept. 2 Indian Rd, Denville, NJ 07834 would be appreciated.
