Diane C. Kirchgessner, 55, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday August 2, 2008 at Saint Clare’s Hospital, Denville, NJ.
Mrs. Kirchgessner was born in Newark, NJ and was a resident of Rockaway Township, NJ. Mrs. Kirchgessner was a staff assistant at the Birchwood Elementary School in Rockaway Township and was a former waitress for 23 years at Anthony’s Restaurant in Rockaway Borough. Diane was a volunteer for the Challenger Softball League, Cheerleader Mom and Softball Mom and Cub Scout Mom.
Diane was predeceased by her father William P. Huber and her mother Anna Marie (Doerflinger) Huber and her brother William P. Huber Jr.
Diane is survived by her beloved husband Richard J., her son Richard Michael, her daughter Ashley Ann, her siblings, Linda Christenson, Kathleen Maier, Robert Huber, Mary Lashine, Regina Rolwood, and aunt of many nieces and nephews. “She was a wife, a mother, a friend and an angel.”
Diane’s funeral will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com (please light a candle in memory of Diane on web site), on Wednesday Aug. 6th at 8:30am for a 10:00am Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Cecilia Church, Rockaway, NJ. Interment committal services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday Aug.5th from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
