Obituary of Janina “Jenny” Mound

Janina Jenny Skorobogatas Mound, Beloved Mamoo and Nana, 69, died on Monday January 24, 2005 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clares Hospital in Dover, NJ.
She was born in Kaunas, Lithuania and immigrated to Oakville, Ontario in 1955, where she met her loving husband Charley Mound. They were married on Oct.4, 1956 and in 1962 they moved to Parsippany, NJ. Jenny became an American citizen in 1964.
She loved singing, making people laugh and going to garage sales. She was very proud of her family and cherished her four grandchildren.
Her husband Charley died in 1989.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses Bob and Lynn Mound of Lyndhurst, Susan and Chuck Kelly of Basking Ridge, Gina and Todd Longo of Parsippany, and Chuck and Melissa Mound of Kenvil. She is also survived by her four grandchildren Ann, Patrick, Jack, and Jessica, and two sisters Irene and her husband Richard Wehbring of Hilton, NY, and Milda Zemeckas of Oakville, Ontario.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday Jan.29, 2005 at 7:00 PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Friends may visit with the family on Sat. from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
