Bertha F. Ackerman, 85, died at Franciscan Oaks Health Center, Denville, NJ on Saturday Jan 8, 2005.
Mrs. Ackerman was born in Passaic, NJ lived in Clifton and Whiting, NJ and the last 14 months in Denville, NJ Mrs. Ackerman was secretary for the Clifton Trinity Methodist Church, and the Caldwell Methodist Church, she became a Administrative Assistant for the Mayflower Estates in Clifton for 10 years retiring in 1981.
Surviving Mrs. Ackerman is her husband of 63 years James W. Ackerman of Denville her son Robert and his wife Kathy Ackerman of Denville, her grandsons Bill, Dave, John, and Scott Ackerman, her great grandchildren Alyssa and Alex Ackerman. Her son James H predeceases Mrs. Ackerman in 1993.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday Jan. 12th at 10:30a.m. At Denville United Methodist Church 190 Diamond Spring Rd., Denville, NJ. Friends will be received on Tuesday Jan.11th from 2-4 & 7-9.p.m. at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
