Anne V. Swalwell (nee Swenty) passed away at her home in Ramsey, NJ on January 3. She was 88 years old.
Born in Rockaway, she had been a lifelong resident of both Denville and Rockaway before moving to Ramsey 4 years ago.
She had worked in the payroll department at Bell Labs in Manhattan, NY for 10 years before retiring in 1944.
She was a volunteer for the Girl Scouts of America.
She is pre deceased by her husband the late John Swalwell in 1995. She is survived by her daughter Jane (& Rodger) Gunwaldsen of Ramsey, NJ, her Granddaughters Caryn (& Jim) Galligan of Ringwood, NJ, and Melissa Gunwaldsen of Ramsey, and her Great Grandson Andrew Galligan.
Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ on Thursday January 6, at 8:30AM for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church in Rockaway at 10:00AM, Interment will follow at Denville Cemetery.
