It is still so difficult to believe you are gone. I expect you to answer the phone when I call. I will miss asking you for some advice or opinion about "money matters". I will always remember how you helped take care of Larry until he passed. I know you are with him now. I will remember how you were always painting the house until you were not able to anymore. I will remember how independent, self reliant and also stubborn you were. All of which your children have in some meassure. You loved your family and you told us whenever we talked to you. I will always love you and remember you.

I loved Mr. Ts' wonderful
low full voice and the beautiful way he would kiss us goodbye. I'll never forget the insight he shared with me about how to make money. He pulled some bills out of his pocket and unfolded them and them refolded them and stuck them back in his pocket. I knew it was a joke, but also slightly serious.

Uncle Tex -- a good, strong man with a wonderful smile and that smart, dry sense of humor. We will miss you Tex, and so glad we had you in our lives. Love, Kathy, Tom, Steven and Michael.
