Obituary of Dolores J. Black

Dolores J. Black nee Feeney, 75, Died on Monday December 13, 2004 at her home in the Indian Lake section of Denville, following a long battle with cancer. She was born and raised in Jersey City before moving to Denville in 1957. Delores, a legal secretary, retired in 1990 and became a full time grandmother. She loved all of her friends at the Denville Senior Citizens, where she was a member of the Monday Chapter 11 Senior Group. Her son Frank died in April 1989. Dolores was survived by her husband of 49 years Frank. She was a great mother to her children and their spouses, Joseph and Ellen Black of Rockaway, and Elizabeth and Jim Bakelas of Denville and an even greater grandmother to Tom and Nicholas Bakelas of Denville. A brother James Feeney of Dupont, Pa. She will be missed by all thoughts who knew her. A Liturgy of Christian Burial Service will be held on Thursday Dec.16, 2004 at 9:30 AM at St. Marys R.C. Church in Denville, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
