Ida H Spadola, 97, died on Wednesday July 16, 2008 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, NJ.
She was born Aug.29,1910 in Bound Brook, NJ, daughter of Joseph and Matilda Spadola, and moved to Morristown where she lived most of her life moving to Franciscan Oaks Residential Community in Denville, in 2001.
Ida worked for the Morristown Board of Education for 46 years retiring in 1975 as Librarian for Morristown High School. Following retirement she volunteered in the library at St. Elizabeth's College in Convent Station for 15 years.
She had been a member of St. Margaret of Scotland R. C. Church in Morristown before moving to Denville.
She is predeceased by her sisters Elizabeth Spadola and Esther Spadola as well as her brother Dr. Joseph W. Spadola Jr.
She is survived by her niece and her husband Marita and Dr. Yale Kroll of New York City, and her nephew and his wife Dr. Joseph and Diane Spadola of Randolph.
She is also survived by her great nieces Olivia and Francesca Kroll of New York City and Theresa and Jennifer Spadola of Randolph.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, on Monday July 21, 2008 at 9:00 AM for an 11:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at St. Francis Chapel in Denville, NJ.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday Morning at the funeral home.
