Eileen G. Unrath-Rankin, died Nov. 13, 2004 at home in Rockaway, NJ. A life long resident of Rockaway, Eileen was born on Feb. 19, 1943 and attended Morris Hills High School. She was a Dental Assistant for Dr. Marco Fernandez, Denville, NJ and always was involved in every area of her childrens life, from team mom, softball coach, brownie leader, room mom, and countless others, always lending her positive support and guidance.
Eileen is survived by her husband of seven years, James Rankin. Her three children and their spouses also survive her; daughter Linda L. Anderson and her husband Curtis of Union City, CA., sons, Robert A. Unrath and his wife Donna of Denville, NJ and James A. Unrath and his wife Laura of Middletown, NJ. She is also survived by her sister Marilyn D. Anderson of Rockaway, NJ and her adoring grandchildren; Matthew Unrath, Lindsay Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Eric Anderson, Melissa Unrath, Alecsa Unrath, Nicholas Unrath, and Gabriella Unrath. Eileen was blessed with five stepchildren, Caren, Jim, Meg, Claudine, and Tommy. She will be missed and continue to hold a special place in the hearts of everyone whose lives she touched.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Wednesday Nov. 17th at 9:30a.m. For an 11:00a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Cecelias Church Rockaway, NJ. Interment services at Rockaway Presbyterian Church Cemetery Rockaway, NJ. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday Nov. 16th from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Joey Bella Fund 15 Myers Ave., Denville, NJ 07834 would be appreciated in Eileens memory.
