Obituary of Fern C Hresko

Fern C. Hresko, 84, died on Friday October 29, 2004 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clares Hospital in Dover, NJ, surrounded by her daughters.
She was born in Coaldale, Pa. and lived in Dover, NJ before moving to Denville in 1971.
Fern was ships cook first class in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII.
She worked in the Machine Shop and later became a reports clerk for Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Twp., NJ for 18 years retiring in 1984.
She was a member of the Morristown Chapter of the WAVES National, and also W.I.M.S.A., Women in Military Service Assoc., in Washington, DC.
She was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Randolph, NJ and was a member of Denville Senior Citizens Club.
Her husband Vincent died in December 12, 1960.
She is survived by her three daughters and their spouses, Brenda Lee and Miles Pratt of Stanhope, Ellen and Michael Grillo of Landsdale, Pa., and Claire and Robert Pharaoh of Denville. Her six grandchildren Michael Pratt, David Pratt, Julie Trasente, Derek Grillo, Brian Grillo, and Lauren Pharaoh, and six great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 1, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Good Shepard Lutheran Church 319 Quaker Church Rd. Randolph, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday Afternoon from 1-5 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
