Veronica Ann Broderick Kratina, 83, died on Saturday July 24th at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ.
Mrs. Katrina was born in College Pointe, NY, she lived since 1960 at Morris Plains, NJ and the last 10 years at Franciscan Oak in Denville, NJ and served on the board and was known for her keen sense of humor. Mrs. Katrina was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament Elementary School and Bayside High Scholl in New York. Mrs. Katrina was employed for Parents Magazine, New York City during WW II and sang professionally for USA shows. Mrs. Katrina was an avid New York Yankees fan, and was active member for many years at the Rockaway River Country Club, Denville, NJ.
Mrs. Katrina husband predeceased her the late Jerome T. in 1992. Her daughters Janet Zuckerman and her husband Wayne of Wilton, CT and Nancy Rickenbach and her husband Allan of Verona survive her. She was the grandmother of Todd, Julie, Cory, Suzanne, Scott, Jeff, and Michael, great grandmother of Lauren, Emma, Megan, Kate, Shannon, and Erin.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ on Wednesday July 28th at 10:00a.m. for a 11:00a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Catherine of Siena Church Mountain Lakes, NJ. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Friends will be received on Tuesday July 27th from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Sloan- Kettering at Saint Clares Hospital 23 Pocono Rd., Denville, NJ 07834 would be appreciated.
