When I think of Uncle Albert two things come to mind. The first is that he was very devoted to his elderly mother who is my grandmother. She and my extended family would bring his name into conversations about how he took care of so many things at her house and always looked in on her. The second is that he was a lot of fun, particularly when it came to playing horseshoes. He invited all to play, even those of us who were out of our league. He liked the competition and the social aspect; he even built little tables in the horseshoe pit for placing beverages and snacks on. I will miss Uncle Albert.

To Al's Family: Word slowly spread thru Millington about his sudden passing. As a constant visitor to our business' PO Box, we got to know Al's very dry sense of humor and his reports of his fall vacations to hunt. We were his customers, but his loss affected us and so many others that heard of his passing too late to express our sympathies to his family in person. The fond memories and love you all shared with him will keep him a part of your hearts always. Our deepest sympathies

With tearful eyes we watched you, as we saw you pass away
Although we love you deeply, we could not make you stay
Your golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us... He only takes the best.
I Love you Joey with all my heart. I will always be here for you and the family.

Al was a part of our daily lives. Every day when we would go to the post office ot pick up our mail, Al always greeted us with a smile. Even if he was busy in the back of the room he would be able to recognize my voice and give me a cheery hello. My husband and I will miss him. He touched our lives with his gentle smile and kind nature.

Some of my childhood memories from living in NJ were Uncle Albert dating Aunt Lynn, sleeping over in Gloria's room and Sunday family gatherings at Grandma's house, every xmas eve and horseshoe games. Once we moved to CT, Uncle Albert and Aunt Lynn, Joey and Alison were always present at special events in my life, even if it meant driving 3-4 hours to be there. I really appreciated having them there.

Alison, Joe, Mrs. Kentos, and Gloria,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I only met your father a few times, but the memories I have of him are ones that showed his love for you both. He came to the daycare to tend to the garden he built for Alison's class which such pride week after week, and that garden grew with love! The other memory I have of your dad was at Joe's graduation party, where he was so proud of his son! I know he was a wonderful man because he raised wonderful children and may he always live on in all of you. God Bless you all.
Love, Tom and Amanda

Linda,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. When you called Sherry and I answered, I didn't realize that you were Linda Hall from Butler. Once Sherry said who you were I knew that the two of you were best friends in Butler and it made it even more significant. I am truly sorry to hear about your loss and I will keep you in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Ronald Silton
