Today is my 37th birthday. This is my first birthday that "my dad" did not call to wish me a "happy birthday". I miss him with all of my soul. He is and was my "hero" and my "dad". He was not just my "father-in-law". Those three words didn't do Dad justice. He was a loving man who made me feel like part of the family from the minute I met him. I feel privileged to have know him for 10 years. My heart aches to see him again, my heart aches for Steve, Mark and Tracy, and Mom. Life will never be the same without my second "Dear old Dad" around.
