Obituary of Peter Margiotta

Peter Margiotta passed away at St. Clares Hospital in Denville on May 8, 2004. He was 70 years old. Born in Mauro Lucana, Italy he had served in the Italian Army before moving to America in 1958. He had moved to Denville 36 years ago. He was a Maintenance Mechanic at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ for 16 years before retiring in 1999. He had many great friends that had come to America from Italy, and also that he had met from working at Morristown Memorial. His wife of 36 years, Josephine (nee Melucci) of Denville, and Son Gerardo Dino Margiotta also of Denville survive him. He is also survived by his sister Maria (& Roberto) Alessi of Yonkers, NY, and his brother Phillipo Margiotta of Mauro Lucana, Italy, as well as a nephew Gerardo Margiotta of Italy. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday May 11, from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Funeral will start at 8:30AM at Norman Dean Home for Services on Wednesday May 12, and then go to St. Marys Church for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00AM.
