Obituary of Joseph M. Miller

Joseph M. Miller, 89, died on Monday May 3rd at home in Denville, NJ. Mr. Miller was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived over 40 years in Denville, NJ. He was employed as a Clerical and Pay Master at Phelps- Dodge, Maspeth, NY for many years, he was a Custodian at the Lakeview School at Denville, NJ and at ICU, Wharton and Cedar Knolls, NJ as a Shipping Clerk and retired in 1993. Mr. Miller enjoyed horse racing. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 42 years Virginia. His Children Veronica Dandrea of Hicksville, NY, Joseph M. Miller of Smithtown, NY, and Eva Davis of Cincinnati, OH. Eight grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren survive him. His sister Veronica Curcio of Maspeth, NY, his two brothers survive George Miller of Riverdale, NY and Peter Miller of North Bellmore, NY. Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Thursday at 9:00am for a 10:00am service at the Union Hill Presbyterian Church 427 Franklin Road, Denville, NJ. Interment Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover, NJ. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
