Agnes Roman passed away at her residence in Denville on April 28, 2004. She was 84 years old. Born in Bronx, NY, she had lived in Plainfield for 27 years, and then in Basking Ridge for 28 years before moving to Denville 3 years ago. She had worked briefly at Prudential Insurance Co. in Newark 68 years ago. She was active in the Catholic Womens Club in Plainfield, NJ. She spent her summers in Chadwick Beach, NJ and her winters in Long Key, FL. Agnes is pre deceased by her husband John J. Roman who died last year. Her children, Suzanne (& Dr. Charles) Schultz of Denville, Carol (& Fred) Cuthbertson of San Diego, CA, and John III (& Dawn) Roman of Bethlehem, PA Survive her. Her grandchildren, John IV, Lindsey, Alex, Amanda, Heidi and Gretchen, also survive her. Her Great Grandchildren, Julia and Alaina. Her brother, Richard Kennedy of Forked River, NJ and her Sister Margaret Berry of Mystic, CT. also survives her. Visitation will be from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Sunday May 2. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday May 3 at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield, NJ.
