Obituary of Grace Verderese

Mrs. Grace Verderese, 88, died at St. Clares Hospital at Denville, NJ. She was born in Sicily, Italy and came to the United States in 1935 settling in Newark, NJ. Mrs. Verderese was a seamstress for the Olympic Junior Clothing Manufacturer on Bergen Street, Newark, NJ for 15 years retiring in 1977. Mrs. Verderese was the wife of the late Frank A Verderese. She is survived by her children; Arlene Draney of Rockaway, NJ, Frank of East Windsor, NJ, William of Chadds Ford, Pa, and Joseph of Clifton. Her six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and a brother Nicholas Livera of Oxford, NJ and a sister Velia Bellochio of Italy survive Mrs. Verderese. A brother predeceased her the late Samuel Livera. Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ on Wednesday at 8:30a.m. for a 9:30a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Cecilias Church Rockaway, NJ. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9p.m.
