Frank A. Miller died after a long illness on Monday, April 12, 2004 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville. Mr. Miller was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was raised in Willmington, Mass. He resided in Middletown, NJ prior to moving to Denville in 1978. After serving in the US Navy during WWII, he graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1951. Mr. Miller retired from Nabisco after 38 years of service primarily in intrnational operations. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Barbara, two stepchildren, Scott Prideaux and his wife Janet of Randolph, NJ, Michelle Harris and her husband Kent of Chantilly, VA as well as two daughters-in-law, Joyce Macke of Palmetto, FL and Heather Miller of Galloway, NJ, seven grandchildren and several cousins in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was pre deceased by his son Frank J. Miller in 1988. Frank was fortunate to have had many loving extended family members and loyal friends. Mr. Miller travelled extensively during his career and upon retirement with his wife. He was an avid fan of swing era music and enjoyed playing peddle guitar and keyboard. He also enjoyed cooking, golf and the NY Jets and NY Mets. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM. A service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2004 at 10:00AM at Norman Dean Home for Services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to American Cancer Society.
