Obituary of Joan Culleny

Joan Culleny (Nee Neesham) died at Newton Memorial hospital on December 7. She was 63 years old. Born in Blakely, PA she had lived most of her life in the Dover/Rockaway area before moving to Laffayette, New Jersey 2 years ago. She had worked as a secretary for RCA, and Levolor in Rockaway, and then for Dr.s Sperling & Collins in Dover, NJ. She was very active in the Dover Little League serving as Team Mother for 14 years. She also taught Sunday School at The United Methodist Church in Rockaway for 5 years. Joan is pre deceased by her late husband Leo E., her Daughter Kathy J., and her brother Thomas F. Neesham, as well as her father Thomas H. Neesham. She is survived by her Mother Dorothy Neesham of Lafayette, NJ. Her Children Daniel T. (& Joanne) of Sussex, Robert L. (& Michelle) of Port Jervis, NY, Dorothy J. (& Rodger) Kent of Newton, Leo Culleny of Netcong, Carol Hughes of Florida, and Mary Reece of Smyrna, GA also survive her. Her Grandchildren Edward, Christine, Laura, Geanie, Sean, Ceci, Leo III, Silas, Maddy, Kaylie, Sadie, and Brianna also survive her. Funeral services will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ (973) 627-1880 on Wednesday at 10:30AM. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
