Obituary of Marcia B. Pazel

Marcia B. Pazel, 71 died on Monday May 19, 2008 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clares Hospital in Dover, NJ.
She was born and grew up in Unadilla, NY, and later moved to Greene, NY before coming to Denville, NJ in 1965.
She married her childhood Friend Frank V., Pazel, who died July 20, 1986.
Marcia received a B. S. in Economics from S. U. N. Y. in Oneonta, NY in 1959, and later went on to receive her Masters in Guidance and Counseling from Montclair State Teacher College in 1980.
She started her career in education as a Home Economics Teacher in Greene, NY, and upon moving to NJ she went to work for Parsippany Board of Education as a Guidance Counselor at Brooklawn Middle School for 32 years retiring in 1992.
She was a member of the Morris County Retirees Educators Assoc., Alpha Delta Kappa Chapter as well as Morris Hills Regional District Advisory Council for Adult School of Continuing Education.
Since retiring she volunteered many hours helping others with the organizations she was involved with.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Thomas and Veronica Pazel of Rochelle Park, NJ, Timothy and Tammy Pazel of Rockaway Twp., NJ, and Margaret and Thomas Scott of Sparta, and four grandchildren John and Melinda Pazel, and Ryan and Robert Scott. As well as her three sisters Eileen Webster of Vestal, NY, Carol Kadhum of San Diego, CA., and Jana Crawford of Binghamton, NY, and many loyal friends and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 21, 2008 at 4:30 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:30 PM.
