Thomas Patrick Cerrato passed away on October 24, 2003 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, NJ. He was 91 years old.
Born in New York City, NY he had lived most of his life in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, NY before moving to Denville in 1995.
He worked as an accountant at US Trucking in New York City, and then at Ramberg Shipping in Brooklyn, NY for a total of 60 years before retiring in 1995.
He was a member (and a 4th degree Knight) of the Knights of Columbus Duncan council in Bay Ridge, NY. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society.
He is pre deceased by his late wife Ruth E. (Ellingsen) who passed away in 2001.
He is survived by his children James Thomas Cerrato, Patricia Hannel, Marilyn Cerrato, Diana Billard, and Ruth Ellen Caldara. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and his sisters Anna Rapa, Margie Hammond, and Gloria Weldon.
Funeral at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Mt. Lakes at 11:00AM on Monday October 27. Friends may visit on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9PM. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to: The American Cancer Society 669 Littleton Road Parsippany, NJ 07054.
