Alphiel Alice Kern, 83, died on Friday Oct. 17th at the Morris View Nursing Home at Morris Township, NJ.
Alice was born I Schenectady, NY, Alice lived most of her life in the Bergen County area of New Jersey, for the last twenty years in Rockaway Twp., NJ. Alice was employed for the New Jersey State Commission for Blind as a Driver and Aid for 30 Years she retired many ago. After her retirement Alice was employed for one summer at Great Adventure working with the seals. Alice was a member of the Rockaway Twp Senior Citizens Club and was a Yankee fan.
Her daughter Marilyn Covello of Rockaway Twp. survives Alice, NJ; her son Steven Kern predeceases her. Eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and one sister June Magnone of Barnegat, NJ, survive her.
Mrs. Kerns funeral service will be held on Wednesday Oct 22nd at 11:00AM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ (973)-627-1880, Interment Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton, NJ. Friends will be received on Tuesday Oct 21st from 7-9PM.
