Mr. Merritt G. Dengler, 86, died on Friday March 19, 2004 at Saint Clares Hospital at Denville, NJ.
Mr. Dengler was born in Bath, PA and moved to Denville, NJ 58 years ago. He was employed as an Insurance Manager at United Merchant Manufacturer, NYNY from 1943 till his retirement in 1982. Mr. Dengler was a WW II US Army veteran. He was a graduate of Rutgers University I New Brunswick, NJ and received his degree in Education.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years Evelyn; his daughter Patricia; a sister Marjorie Tyrell and her husband Alfred; nephews, Richard and Kenny, one niece, Jeanne, and several cousins. A predeceased son, Robert C. died in 1984.
Mr. Dengler funeral services are private, contributions and donations to the Denville Community United Methodist Church, 190 Diamond Spring Rd., Denville, NJ 07834 would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements handled thru Norman Dean Home for Services, Denville, NJ
