Obituary of Ethel M. Thomas

Mrs. Ethel M. Thomas, 88, died at the Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover, NJ on Sunday September 21, 2003. She was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Hackettstown, NJ before settling in Denville, NJ since 1950. Mrs. Thomas was graduate of St. Vincents High School Academy in Newark, NJ. She attended and graduated in the 1960s the Morris Hills High School Nursing Program with a L.P.N. Degree. Mrs. Thomas was an L.P.N. at Saint Clares Hospital Denville, NJ and later became a private duty nurse at local nursing homes and private residences. She retired in 1975. Mrs. Thomas was the wife of the late Raymond and has a predeceased son Donald who died in 1999; Mrs. Thomas is survived by two sons, Gary Egan of Newport News, Va, and Robert Egan of Warren, NJ, her daughter, Arlene Teets of Morris Township, NJ, and three grandsons, Brian, John, and Michael Teets, and one sister Eileen Spotts of Wharton, NJ. The funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ on Wednesday Sept 24, at 8:30AM for a 9:30 am liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Marys Church Denville, NJ. Interment Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ.
