Obituary of James Joseph Hogan

James Joseph Hogan, 56, died on Thursday September 18th at St. Lukes Hospital, Bethlehem, PA. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland, came to Manhattan in 1949, then to Lake Hiawatha, NJ in 1956.He later spent 30 years in Hopatcong, NJ, before moving to Mt. Pocono, Pa. seven years ago. Mr. Hogan was a Vietnam War Veteran and served with the US Army from 1965 to 1967. Mr. Hogan was employed at the Resort MA Associates Inc. Mt. Pocono, PA where he served as a security guard. Mr. Hogan was the former owner of the J & S Limo service in Lake Hopatcong. Mr. Hogan was the father of Patricia Hogan of Randolph and Cora Hogan of Hackettstown. He was the grandfather of Andrew, Douglas, and Deanna Hogan. His mother Josephine Hogan of Hackettstown, one brother Frank Hogan of Columbia, two sisters, survives him, Brigid deLime of River Edge, and Catherine Chevalier of Portsmouth, NH. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday Sept. 21st from 2-4PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ and may attend the funeral wake service at 4:00PM. Mr. Hogan will be cremated and his remains will be interred on Tuesday Sept. 23rd at 1:00PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ
