Obituary of Stephanie Hundhausen

Stephanie Hundhausen,91, died on Wednesday September 17, 2003 at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ. She was born, raised and Lived in Bloomfield most of her life, moving to Ledgewood, NJ seven years ago. She had been a nurses aide at Perth Amboy Hospital in Perth Amboy, NJ and later at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. She had also served as a housemother at Jersey Shore Nursing School the Anna Mae Nursing School, retiring in 1986. Her first husband Edward Golas died in 1939, and her second husband Herman Carl Hundhausen died in 1969. A daughter Betty Hundhausen died in 1996, and a grandson Gerald Sullivan also died in 1996. She is survived by four children Joan Sullivan of Long Valley, Carol Flanagan of Rockaway Twp., Ralph Golas of Hazlet, and William Hundhausen of Toms River. 16 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren. A sister Mary Syloski of Bloomfield, NJ. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday Sept. 22, 2003 at 8:15 AM for a 10:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at Sacred Heart Church in Dover, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
