Eugene John McConnon, 70, died on Tuesday Sept.9, 2003 at his home in the Indian Lake section of Denville, NJ.
Eugene was born in Manhattan and grew up in the Bronx before moving to Valley Cottage, NY and finally coming to Denville in 1983.
He had graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx and later from New York University in Manhattan with a BA in Accounting in 1958.
He was an accountant with Korvettes Department Store in Westchester, NY for many years retiring in 1981.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years Elizabeth M. nee Looney. His sister Margaret Farrell of Jackson, NJ and four nephews Vincent Farrell, Brian Farrell, Patrick Farrell, and Sean Farrell, as well as a niece Tara Lipatoni.
Funeral from the funeral home on Friday Sept.12, 2003 at 9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at St. Marys RC Church in Denville, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
