Obituary of Edna M. Belger

Edna M. Belger (Nee Klaue) passed away on Saturday November 23, 2002. She was 96 years old. Born in Brooklyn, New York she had lived in Ridgewood, New Jersey before moving to Denville seven years ago. She had worked as a telephone operator for J.M. Mathes & Company in New York City for 25 years before retiring in 1971. Her husband, The Late Howard Belger died in 1964. Surviving are her sons Howard J. from Randolph, and Donald J. from Garden City, New York. She was the grandmother of seven, and Great Grandmother of fourteen. She is also survived by her sister Elizabeth Ahern of Jacksonville, Florida. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday November 27 at 9:00 AM for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Francis Chapel in Denville at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery in Long Island. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
