Mrs. Ruth Howard, 80, died at her home in Spotswood, NJ on Friday August 22, 2003. Mrs. Howard was born in Elizabeth and moved to Rockaway, NJ in 1955 and in 1997 moved to Spotswood, NJ.
Mrs. Howard was a bookkeeper at the Dyer Insulation co., Rockaway, NJ for many years before retiring in 1996. Mrs. Howard was a talented seamstress and avid painter.
Mrs. Howard was the wife of the late Robert J. Howard, the mother of Robert J. Jr., Thomas J., Kathleen Brundin, Maureen Waldron, Cecilia Horowitz, and the late Eileen Sasso. Also are survived are eleven grandchildren and two great grandsons, and one sister Dolores Miller.
The funeral is from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ on Tuesday August 26, at 9:00AM for a 10:00AM Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Cecilias Church with interment at St. Cecilias Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Visiting Nurse Assoc. of Central Jersey, Hospice, Development Office, 141 Bodman Place, Red Bank, NJ 07701 would be appreciated.
