Dear Pete's Family,
Although I never met Pete, my son, Eric, graduated Morris Knolls with him. They didn't know each other as Eric grew up in Marcella, but they met in senior year when they shared a few classes together. Their paths crossed again this year at County where they became friendly. Eric said 'why are all the stoners and the drinkers alive and a nice guy like Pete isn't?' Maybe in a few years when the pain isn't so fresh you'll see that Pete left precious gifts in places you'll never know about.
