John A. Jack Antonelli, died peacefully at his home in Rockaway on Wednesday July 16, 2003. He was 66. Born on June 23, 1937 in Dover, NJ to Sereno Nick and Beatrice (Beck) Antonelli, and was a life long resident of Rockaway, NJ. After serving in the Air Force, Jack was employed by the New York Stock Exchange and RCA Telecommunications before returning to full time military service. He was retired from the New Jersey National Guard. Following his retirement he worked part time for the Craigmeur Recreation Complex as well as Picatinny Arsenal both in Rockaway Twp. He was a member of the Masonic Order Jepthah Lodge #233 F & AM in Rockaway, where he had served as a past Master. He is currently the Junior Grand Deacon of Free Masons of New Jersey, and also a member of other various appendent bodies of Freemasonry. He was a former member of the Rockaway Borough Fire Department. He is predeceased by his father Sereno in 1996, and his mother Beatrice in 1997 and his brother Gregory in 2000. He is survived by his four daughters and their husbands Lirelle and John Klein of Green Twp., Michele and Wayne Young of Rockaway Twp., Beth Ann and Wade Massey of Bethel Ct., and Kristen and Michael Sadowski of Oak Ridge. He is also survived by 16 cherished grandchildren, Shaun, Kevin, Steven, Calvin, Matthew, Kathryn, Morgan, Michael, Christopher, Travis, Caroline, Stephanie, Melissa, Joshua, Elizabeth, and Jonathan. He is also survived by his former wife Judith Herrick Antonelli. His loving sister and her husband Lisa and Sal Cenicacelaya of Wantage, and a brother Stephen. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Funeral services will be held on Monday Morning July 21, 2003 at the funeral home. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Masonic Services will be held on Sunday evening.
