Ruth R. Davis, 91, passed away on Sunday January 27, 2013 at her home.
Ruth was born in Ocean Grove, NJ and moved to Denville in 1939. She became the Assistant Post Master of the Mountain Lakes, Post Office and after 27 years service to the Postal Service she retired in 1982.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Earle, her daughter, Joyce Dawes, her 2 brothers, George and William Ackerman, and her 2 nephews, Bobby and Gary Ackerman.
Ruth is survived by her 2 daughters, Shirley DeHart and Phyllis Vialard, 6 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Michael, Annie, Leann, Kate and Hooter (David), her "7th Grandchild" Tina, her 7 great grandchildren, an expected great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and her care giver Laura.
