With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Daniel David Stalter II, who left us on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the age of 78. A devoted family man and a true lover of classic cinema, Daniel was known for his unwavering love for his family and his deep admiration for the legendary John Wayne. His larger-than-life presence, kind soul, and fierce dedication to those he loved will forever remain in our hearts.

Born on June 24th, 1946 in Dover, NJ, Daniel grew up with a strong sense of family and community. He was a man of simple yet profound values, and nothing mattered more to him than his family. Whether it was teaching his children life lessons, sharing stories of his youth, or simply spending time with loved ones, Daniel showed us the true meaning of devotion.

A lifelong fan of John Wayne, Daniel admired the cowboy icon’s strength, integrity, and sense of honor, traits that he embodied in his own life. His love for western films was a favorite pastime, and he often said that John Wayne's characters reminded him of the values he lived by every day.

Above all, Daniel was a family man. His love for his Judith and their children was unparalleled, and he always made sure that they knew they were his greatest joy. His nurturing spirit and steadfast loyalty will continue to guide us in the years ahead.

Daniel leaves behind his children Daniel (Betty) David Stalter, III, David (Clara) Stalter, and Mark (Chris) Stalter. His memory will live on through the stories we will continue to share and the lessons he taught us all. He also leaves behind his 10 grandchildren Mark, Max, Madeline, Laura, Ashley, Kelly, Dan, Tyler, Jack, and Austin. As well as his 11 great grandchildren Noah, Cadine, Oliver, Mark, Alora, Christian, Miles, Wesley, Tyler, Gage, and Richie. His love for his family, his passion for John Wayne films, and his generous heart will never be forgotten.

A celebration of Daniel`s life will be held privately at a later date.

Rest in peace, Daniel. You were our hero, and we will carry your memory with us forever.
