Mr. Robert T. Klein, 78, died at the Saint Clares Hospital at Denville on Thursday July 3, 2003. Mr. Klein was born in Albany, NY and had lived in Calvert City, KY, Westfield, NJ before moving to Denville, NJ three years ago.
Mr. Klein was employed at the GAF Corp. as a Controller for 48 years in New York, Kentucky, Texas, and New Jersey. Mr. Klein retired 13 years ago. Mr. Klein was a US Army WW II veteran. He was a Combat Infantrymen and served at Ardennes, Central Europe, Rhineland Campaign with the 8th Armored Division.
Mr. Klein was the husband of the late Betty Lou Reed Klein, father of Michael of Hillsboro, Kenneth of McLean, Va, Barbara Kennedy of Denville, Richard of Lafayette, Ca, and David of Akron, NY, also survived by nine grandchildren, and a brother Jack Klein of Averill, NY.
Mr. Klein will have a Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Catherine of Siena Church on Saturday July 5th at 10:00AM, interment Holy Rood Cemetery at Morristown, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Catherine of Siena Church would be appreciated.
