Obituary of Paul Nelson Saxe
Paul Nelson Saxe, 66, of Hackettstown, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Jersey City Medical Center. Born in New Brunswick, he grew up in Brookside and graduated from Mendham High School in 1976.
Paul owned PS Printing in Dover and worked as a commercial printer for over 40 years. In his free time, he volunteered to clear hiking trails for the National Park Service and to walk dogs for various animal shelters.
Paul is survived by his son Jamieson Kennedy (Melissa) and granddaughter Maeve of Milford, CT, and his son Kyle Kennedy (Grace) of Astoria, NY. He also leaves behind sister Lauren Quigley (Dennis) of Madison, brother Dan Saxe (Barbara) of Rockaway, cousins Jon Saxe (Debbie) of Hector, NY and Holly Saxe LaBaire of Cocoa Beach, FL, nephews and nieces Matthew Touhey (Megan), Jason Touhey, Alyssa Saxe (Erin), Daniel Saxe (Christine) and his grand nieces and nephew, London Touhey, Camden Touhey, Lilybelle Touhey, and Charlotte Saxe. Paul will also be missed by his longtime friend, Ben Mueller. He is predeceased by his parents A. Howard Saxe, Jr. and Jean Saxe Arlow.
All services will be private under the direction of Norman Dean Home for Services. Charitable contributions may be made in Paul’s memory to Habitat for Humanity or to Feeding America.
