Linda Michaels

Obituary of Linda Anne Michaels

Please share a memory of Linda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Linda Anne Michaels passed away in Hackensack, New Jersey on Wednesday , February 21st, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and friend to many. She will always be missed, remembered, and loved by those she leaves behind.

Linda was born on a beautiful August day to Judy and Ken Raclawski. After successfully completing her high school diploma she then moved on to Drake University completing her Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy. She was a loyal employee at the Byram ShopRite as a pharmacist for 28 years. Linda loved to work and the people she worked with. When Linda wasn’t at work she cherished every moment with her family. Her children and their future were her world. Even with her busy career she always made time to attend her childrens’ activities and celebrations of achievement. When she wasn’t cooking, working, and spending time with family, she enjoyed walking Horseshoe Lake. When given the opportunity she loved to meet friends for coffee, perhaps a walk down a nature trail or just to catch up on time. Spending a beautiful autumn day picking apples at Donaldson’s Farm with her family was a yearly event. She thoroughly enjoyed spending outdoor time on her patio with family. Linda was truly a beautiful soul, never complained or had a bad thing to say about anyone.

Although we are saddened by her loss, we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her dad Ken Raclawski. She now looks to those to continue her memory, her devoted husband of nearly 39 years, Mike Michaels. Her loving children Jonathan (wife Jackie, grandson Tony) Michaels, Ryan Michaels, and Jessica Michaels. She is also survived by her mother, Judy Raclawski (and partner Jerome Ambre), brothers Christopher (wife Maureen) and Craig (husband Fernando). Also nieces Sara and Morgan, nephew Nicolas. Linda loved our little pittie Remy and our fur babies that have passed on.

A memorial visitation will take place on March 16th from 10:00AM- 2:00 PM with a service at 1:15 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services, Inc. 16 Righter Road, Denville NJ. Memorial donations are being accepted to Eleventh Hour Rescue by way of inmemof.org. All are welcome to come and celebrate the life of this incredible woman! Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your favorite memory of Linda here to continue to let her radiance shine.
