Obituary of Eugene Lucente

Eugene Charles Lucente, Sr. passed away in Morristown, NJ on February 5, 2024. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend to many.  

Gene was born on November 19th, 1941 in Queens, NY to Loretta and Eugene Lucente.  From a young age, Gene was a hard worker, delivering papers and working his way into the printing business. Eventually his entrepreneurial spirit led him to start his own company in the trade of disposable paper and cleaning products. His skills as a salesman carried him through several career changes including health food and eventually the environmental cleanup and waste removal business. His work ethic and hustle were formidable.

Gene was happiest when traveling, meeting new people, and spending time with his family. His favorite things included antique car and tow truck shows, restaurants, balloon rides, horseback riding and canoeing in his early days. 

He is survived by his brother, five children and two grandchildren who mourn his loss but take comfort in knowing that he is at rest. A Memorial Service will be held for Eugene Saturday February 17th, 2024 at 10:30AM at Faith Family Fellowship Church, 126 Mount Pleasant Ave, Dover, NJ 07801.
