Billy coached me for years when I played Blue Angels football and little league baseball. He was so committed to those programs -- it was like he never left Gardner Field. I didn't understand at the time what a sacrifice that must have been but I understand it now. Thank you Billy, may you rest in peace.

Such sad news. Bill and I worked closely with the Morris County Junior legion that existed because of him. He provided hundreds of boys the opportunity to play baseball and no cost. He worked endlessly to give the boys of Denville many memories. I know my son will always be grateful.
Thanks Bill!

Bill was my baseball coach for most of my little league career. I really enjoyed playing for Bill and still have fond memories of those days. As a fellow Dolphins fan I also remember several passionate football conversations. RIP Billy.
