Obituary of Barbara Jane Goss
It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the passing of Barbara Jane Goss, a longtime resident of Denville who passed away on January 2nd, 2023 after a brief illness.
Barbara was a wife, a mother, and grandmother, and will be remembered for her kindness and unending love. She had so much love for her family and friends and anyone who had the opportunity to meet her is truly blessed.
Her beloved husband, Albert, remarks that one of his favorite memories of his wife was spending time together, sitting underneath their deck where they would feed the fish in their pond. They would attract fish, birds, and a blue heron, affectionately named “pickle”. To Albert, any time spent with his beautiful wife was not time wasted. They shared over 30 years of bliss together, and Barbara’s absence will be felt so deeply. Another fond memory of Barbara is shared by her sister, Judy, who would call her on the phone every day to catch up.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Albert Goss, their children, Ellen Goss, Jeff Storm (Delores), Chris Goss (Kristin), Andy Storm, Christine Storm (Ed), Ted Goss, her grandchildren, Brandon, Ayla, Drew, Cj, Ethan, Cassidy, Sierra, Madison, Lenin, Ruby, her sister, Judy Freeman and her husband Robert, as well as a wealth of extended family, friends, and neighbors who will remember her dearly.
