Dear Barbara,
We were shocked and stunned to hear the news about Uncle Dick. Our hearts are broken for you.
A relationship doesn't end when someone passes on. They continue to be an influence in memory and in your heart. Uncle Dick will always be a part of our lives, as will you. He will continue to inspire us with his incredible fortitude in dealing with a lifelong affliction with magnanimity and courage that most of us pale to in comparison.
And we will miss him as a friend and close family member. And we are sure this will make you even closer to us all, as long as you can put up with the nutty family you married into.
