The service for Eloise was so beautiful yesterday. Her daughter's Patti and Donna and her granddaughter Emma honored their Mom and Grandma with such loving tributes. They had (still have) so much love and respect for her.
One comment that touched my heart was Patti's comment when she thanked her Mom for giving her "Her 3 best friends" Donna, Sharon and Gail. That is a legacy that will last for all time. I'm so sorry for the loss to your entire family
Rest in Peace Eloise knowing that you created a loving family!!!!

I was blessed with the best mom ever! She always inspired me by her actions...she was kind, thoughtful, strong, smart, graceful, forgiving, independent, compassionate, silly and non judgemental! As a mom she never raised her voice but you new when she was not happy! She was one of the girls and we always enjoyed spending time with her. She had a passion for the beauty in nature and loved all living things...something I share with her. I'm glad she is at peace, it has been a difficult past few years living with her dementia. I'm happy to remember my amazing mom and she will always be with me!!

I have fond memories of Aunt Eloise from our childhood family gatherings. She was always kind and gracious and so beautifully put together. I was very shy when young, and she would put me at ease and get me talking.

Brother Bob Rodger’s and my family before we moved to Va.
Would get together with Eloise & her great family. She was
Quite the host & we always hated to leave. They are memories
I will never forget and I look forward to seeing her again in heaven.
I lost my wife a short time ago and I know she & Eloise will be
Already catching up with times they haven’t been able to get
Together and I look forward to joining both of them, can’t wait.

Our Mom was an amazing mother. She was beautiful, strong, independent and kind. She was truly the hub of our family and her home was always the gathering place for all birthday and holidays for many years. Thanks for always being there for us with your support, wisdom and compassion. We'll miss you always. Love Patti
