Mary Scutari, 91, died on Monday May 12, 2003 at Morrisview Nursing Home in Morris Township, NJ.
She was born in San Constentino, Italy and came to East Orange, NJ in 1930. In 1962 she moved to Newark, NJ and later to Springfield, NJ in 1979. She moved to Rockaway, NJ in 2002.
She was a homemaker.
Her Husband Louis died in 1973, her daughter Phyllis Villani died in 1986, and her son Russell died in 1992.
She is survived by her daughter Adele Sauchelli of Rockaway, NJ. Four grandchildren Gene Scutari of Mountainside, NJ, Christine Rosowicz of Chatham, NJ, Andrea Maloney of Madison, NJ, and Alfonse Villani of Warren, NJ. Six great grandchildren, and a sister Madeline Schillizzi of Rome, Italy.
Funeral from the funeral home on Friday May 16, 2003 at 9:30 AM for a 10:30 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at St. Cecilias RC Church in Rockaway, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations are being accepted to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society 45 Springfield Ave. Springfield, NJ 07081.
