Obituary of Paul A. Bischer

Paul A. Bischer, 75, died on Friday May 9, 2003 while on a fishing trip in Cape May, NJ.
He was born and raised in Hoboken, NJ and moved to the Lake Telemark section of Rockaway Twp., NJ in 1958.
Paul served in the Army during WWII.
He was a water service mechanic starting out with the Lackawanna Railroad before going in to the service, and then went back after and stayed through all of the railroad mergers finally retiring as a Forman for NJ Transit in 1987.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting, as well as working in his wood shop.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Catherine A. nee Mass. Two sons Michael and Brian both of Denville, NJ, and a daughter Lynne Hon of Duluth, Ga. Five Grandchildren Lindsey, Amy, Ryan, Stephanie, and Alyssa. And a brother George of Rockaway, NJ, and a brother Joseph who died previously.
Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday May 13, 2003 at 9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at St. Cecilias RC Church in Rockaway, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations are being accepted to St. Clares Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center 400 West Blackwell St. Dover, NJ 07801.
