Obituary of Jeanne Marie Foley

Jeanne Marie Foley passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday May 11, 2023. Jeanne was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Jeanne was born in Bayonne, NJ and resided in Warwick, NY, Sussex, and Morris County throughout her life. Jeanne had a passion for art. She began practicing her skills at a young age and always spent her down time being creative. Jeanne was known for being a kind and optimistic soul. She was an avid painter, switching between oils, acrylics, and watercolor. Jeanne explored and experimented with other art mediums, as well as taking an interest in interior design.

If Jeanne wasn’t home in her garden, or painting, she would often go to museums and galleries and admire others works. Jeanne loved sea turtles and the ocean and really enjoyed spending her family time down in Ocean Grove. Above all she was the most caring, positive, and selfless mother anyone could ask for and will be deeply missed.

Jeanne memory will live on through her sons Sean and Kari Grip. Her loving siblings Bob (Linda) Foley, Claire Foley, Lynn (Patt) McAndrew, Donald Foley, and Susie Foley. Her sweet nieces and nephews, Skye Foley, Janna Dorer, and Kate, Ryan, and Aiden McAndrew. Although we are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved husband John Allen Grip.
