Obituary of Angela Elizabeth Shropshire

Please share a memory of Angela to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angela Shropshire, who passed away in March of 2023 in her home in Del Rey Beach, Florida. Angela was a kind and caring woman that was taken from this world much too soon.

Angela Elizabeth was born to Vicki and Richard Beerman in May of 1978. She was raised alongside her two brothers, Richard and Timothy, in Fanwood, New Jersey. After graduating high school, Angela went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from St. Peter’s College in Jersey City. She used her degree to pursue a job at New York Magazine, and even worked there throughout the attacks on 9/11. Later on in life, Angela became a mother when she brought her first son, Ethan, into the world. Not long after that came Reid, her second son. Angela was a truly loving mother and was proud of her boys in everything they did. With Ethan gaining scholarships for his dedication to sports and Reid receiving special honors for his academics, their mother is now smiling down on them, cheering for them eternally.

In her free time, Angela made time to keep up with friends. She managed to maintain many friendships that she had made in grade school and even kindergarten. She even stayed close enough with her friends that she attended college with her roommate that she had met in grade school. Angela carried these treasured friendships with her till the very end; each one near and dear to her heart. Angela lived out her final years in her home in Florida, soaking up the sun. She enjoyed taking bike rides through her town and loved watching the sun rise and set over the water.

Though the passing of such a beautiful soul brings us sorrow, we take comfort in knowing that she is reunited in paradise with those who came before her. She is now recouping those lost moments with her beloved step-father, John Patrick Golden, in the house of the Lord. It is now the task of those she leaves behind to carry on her memory. Her survivors include her sons, Ethan and Reid Shropshire, her mother, Vicki Golden, and her brothers, Richard and Timothy Beerman. Please keep Angela’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time.
