Obituary of Allen Joseph Ferrier

Allen Joseph Ferrier, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 11, 2022. He
was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.

Allen was born in Union, NJ on a warm summer day in July 24, 1939.  Retirement from
Entenmanns Bakery following a 30-year career allowed Allen to spend time with the family he
cherished.  Allen was a protector, corn connoisseur, movie buff, music lover (he always had the radio
on) and went from a deer hunter to a deer feeder.  A forever valentine to his girls, dog lover to his sweet
Snooki, mentor to all, fisherman, crabber, and our biggest fan. A true loving Girl Dad.

His memory will live on through his wife and childhood sweetheart of over 60 years, Mary Lou.
Loving daughters Darcy (Daralyn), Robyn (Steve) and Rebecca (Chris). Beloved granddaughters
Alynn (Casey) and Markie (Elijah), a great grandchild on the way. As well as many friends and
relatives.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16 from 3:00-700 pm at Noman Dean
Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville.  A funeral mass will take place on Thursday,
November 17 at 10:00 am at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Rockaway, NJ.  Entombment will
follow at Locust Hill Mausoleum, Dover, NJ. Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your
